wwwhat a wwwonderful wwweekend

just felt like accenting the "w's".

we did have a great weekend though.
-friday after a big tadoo of plans changing and rearranging and falling through, my sweet friend nickel ended up coming over for some hang time. always love when "aunt cole" comes over.
-saturday we headed down to big D to spend some time with b's family. his niece who will be getting married in may was having a wedding shower and pretty much the whole family was there. we were glad we got to come down for it and we're looking forward to the wedding. especially ella, she gets to dress like a princess for the occasion. i hope i will be able to get the dress off of her after it's over. she loves it so much.
-saturday evening we got to have dinner with some great friends. we really enjoy our time with them. it's not as much as we'd like it to be but every time we're together we pick up where we left off. don't you just love friends like that?
-sunday morning we headed back to OKC for my beloved fine arts practice and crashed the rest of the day sunday. we were all pooped.

now it's back to the daily grind.
i kind of like it that way.
always good for a little break but always good to come back home.
