i can't believe it's already july. the summer is flying by. we HAVE been busy but seriously, only one more month of summer vacation then back to school? can't believe it. alot has been going on in and around the venable house...so i'll try to sum up. i realize some of these topics will have to be expounded on...all in due time.
-my job ended at the church i was working for. they decided to redistribute my responsibilities to the school of ministry students in order to prepare them for their future. i was shocked but felt total peace about it. seriously, total and complete peace. it was almost scary but i knew it was b/c God was with me and will provide. i'm excited for what's to come.
-we have our house up for sale. we are trying to move to bethany, oklahoma. we will be helping some friends of ours with their church plant. we are so very excited and totally know this is of God. it's been amazing to watch things pan out. again, excited for what's to come.
-my dad is getting married. august 7th. we are very excited and happy for him. he has found a wonderful woman of God, she's going to be a great friend and is already a wonderful grammy to the kids. they love her (and so do we)
-jakob will be in the 1st grade and ella will start pre-k. two kids in school. can't believe it, but i'm VERY excited. we've done lots of fun things this summer so far, including watching too many movies and playing too many video games. but hey, it's summer time......
lots of great things to come. the Lord continues to bless us daily, provide for us and shower us with grace. He's truly an amazing God and i'm surrounded by His love.
